- [Instructor] Using an HTTP Proxy Server we can control or redirect client network activity. Usually a proxy is used for web traffic. Proxy's are common in organizations and enterprises where they can be used to help monitor or manage traffic. And they can be used to cache frequently needed content and resources on slower or metered connections. To prevent wasted bandwidth from repeated downloads of the same file. Proxy's can also be used by clients to avoid organizational traffic policies and limitations. So even if you don't plan on using one on your network.
