- [Instructor] Kali comes with Firefox as its default browser and we've already added that to our favorites panel. Let's start it up. The default page for the Kali browser is the Kali homepage file. I can visit the offensive security site as I would with my PC browser by entering the URL https//www.offensive-security.com. As we start doing web testing, one thing we need to do is to switch between using a browser directly onto the Internet and using it in proxy mode. In this mode, the browser connects to a proxy tool such as Burp Suite and then Burp Suite connects it to the Internet or our internal testing network. Let's see how we set up proxy mode. At the top-right of the browser, we click on the options icon and we select Preferences and scroll down to Network Settings. The two settings we'll be using are No proxy and Manual proxy.
