Sales professionals are always on the go and need an app that will keep them connected. In this video, learn where and how to download the LinkedIn Sales Navigator mobile app for both iOS and Android devices. Gain a high-level overview of features and functionality within both versions.
- [Instructor] Sales professionals are always on the go. You need a mobile sales app that keeps you connected and informed. Sales Navigator's mobile app gives you access to key features where you need them most, everywhere, so let's start in the App Store and download Sales Navigator. Simply type in what we're looking for in the search bar, and it will populate. We can see we've got our LinkedIn.com native app as our first selection, but we're looking specifically for Sales Navigator, so I'm gonna hit Get, then Install, so we can get the app downloaded to the phone.
So we've just downloaded the LinkedIn Sales Navigator app, so let's open the app so we can get started. I'm going to sign in using my email address. So we've entered in our LinkedIn username as well as our password. Hit Sign In and this is going to bring me to my Sales Navigator mobile experience. Have the opportunity to get my notifications enabled so I can continue to receive important messages. I am going to enable that function.
Again I'm going to make sure that I'm allowing this because I want to be notified of any updates and changes that happen throughout the day. This is the way that I can continue to stay on top of my business. So when we're looking at the app, I want to call out a couple of things. A lot of the navigation is going to happen down at the bottom, so where we are right now is in our home screen, so it's our news feed. This is where we're able to pick up all of that information that we're going to be able to get on our saved accounts. Right next door, we've got the Discover.
Discover is going to be your ability to get new leads and new account recommendations each day. What LinkedIn Sales Navigator does is gives you a certain time of leads and accounts, and you're able to engage with those people and companies for a specific period of time. Right beside, you look at your saved leads as well as your saved accounts. So taking a look at some of the changes or any of the updates that have happened is going to keep me on my toes as well as make sure that I'm informed when it comes to having meetings.
For example, looking at my sales updates up at the top, so those little green teal boxes, I see that I've got four accounts currently saved as leads, but I also have three organizations where there have been senior leadership changes. This is going to be important for me to know and reference when it comes to holding meetings with those companies. Then back to the bottom right beside, I've got my ability to send and read my InMail messages. So any of the InMail messages that I will have received will appear here.
I can archive messages, as well as take a look at some of the messages that I've sent out. If I wanted to create a new message, just go up to the top where there's a little pencil with a piece of paper, and then that way I can continue to be engaged and communicate with my prospects and leads. So this is what the LinkedIn Sales Navigator mobile app experience looks like within iOS. Let's see what the Android experience is like. Here we are in the Google Play Store.
We're able to download LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Now, I've already done that, so let's just go right into the app. I've already logged in and I'm ready to go. We can see a lot of the same features that we saw in the iOS app present here in the Android version. A couple of the features that you will notice are different are that we now have all of the information that we're looking for up in the header instead of at the bottom of the screen. A couple of the features that we didn't look at within iOS, we're going to take the time to examine now.
If we wanted to do a search for new leads or new accounts, it would be as simple as popping that information into the search bar, running that search, and then identifying those leads and accounts. What we can see is that the tags and notes that we placed on the profile, in addition to the summary, will still be present within the app, and it's the same for our accounts. From here, we can either connect, we can send messages. It's a great way to continue to engage.
What you will notice is that Sales Navigator provides you with further information to become more knowledgeable about your leads as well as your accounts. So you get some sales spotlights that will provide you with information so you can engage appropriately and do better business. Going back to the homepage, one of the features we did not discuss were the settings. So this is where you can update your sales preferences, as well as ensure that your LinkedIn.com account settings are still resonating true.
This is a great way to be able to stay in touch as the Sales Navigator mobile device app will help you to get those realtime sales updates, discover your lead and account recommendations. You can see profiles and connections to make sure that you're presenting yourself as a credible partner. You can send InMails while you're away from your computer, and continue to contact and engage people who will be able to move your business forward. Because you're busy, you might not always be in one place.
You want to make sure that you're always engaged, you're always informed, and that you're in tune with your business. So download the Sales Navigator mobile app. Stay on top of your business everywhere you go.
