- The industry legend, Saul Bass, stated "Design is thinking made visual." So I like to think he would have embraced a social media platform like Instagram, because it's great for communicating with an audience visually. Like other social media, you can add commentary to your posts as well, but this platform is distinctly designed and catered for engaging people on a visual level. And that makes it ideal for sharing your artwork, design or sharing your creative process. Like all social media, you'll have to decide how you want to use it, be it business, personal, or a mix of both. I tend to lean more heavily towards the business side on this platform, sharing real world projects and my creative process. But let's take a look at the basics of Instagram.
