Available only with the Team license, the out of network profile unlock allows you to view the profiles of potential leads.
- [Narrator] Sales Navigator provides you with visibility into the millions of LinkedIn members all around the globe. And with your level of connectivity, you may have inroads into a great many people you want to connect with. But what if someone is outside of your third-degree network, or if you're working a new territory, in a new industry, or don't have a single degree of connectivity? That's where the out-of-network profile unlock feature comes in. Available with your Sales Navigator team license, the out-of-network profile unlock feature provides you with access into new potential relationships.
Let's take a look and see what that looks like. We'll open Lead Builder, and I'm going to start searching in my same industry, so still looking for Accounting, Banking, as well as Financial Services. But instead of the eastern seaboard, right now I'm going to be looking for people in Bali. Hit Search, and I'm now provided with 765 new results. Looking at the results page, I can see that I've got LinkedIn members as well as the opportunity to view profiles instead of save leads.
When I click on View Profile, I am now presented with the opportunity to unlock a full profile. What this will do, once I click on the blue button, is I will now be able to see this person's entire LinkedIn profile. This is going to be great for my business, because that way, I'll be able to learn more about that contact. Now, for those of you with a Sales Navigator professional license, you'll see something similar, but slightly different. You'll be given the opportunity to upgrade to a Sales Navigator team license in order to get those 25 unlocks.
In terms of things to remember about the profile unlocks, you have access to 25 unlocks monthly, and once a profile is unlocked, it's unlocked for everyone on your contract. So remember, unlocking a profile will provide you with new opportunities to connect and learn about potential prospects. You can better engage with members by referencing mutual connections or other related information, and provide value from your first engagement. Leverage the power of the unlock to increase your reach across the LinkedIn network.
