- [Instructor] Your Sales Navigator license provides you with access to millions of organizations in countries all over the world. But how do you sort through all of those companies in order to identify the accounts that will make the most impact to you and your business? Through efficient search. Let's learn more about how to maximize LinkedIn Sales Navigator search tools to find those accounts. When it comes to search, we have two options. If you know the name of the company that you are looking for, you can type in that name in the search bar, scroll down to companies, and then you're provided with the account page.
From here, on the top right, you will see that you have the ability to save as account. We know that day to day business life can be very hectic, with information coming at you from all angles. Saving accounts will help you to ensure that you're able to filter through the noise, and receive timely information on companies that mean the most to you. But what if you don't know the name of the company that you're looking for? Perhaps you're looking to build a list of accounts. How do you go about finding those in Sales Navigator? By using Lead Builder.
Lead Builder is an advanced search feature functionality that will allow you to build that list. Let's use my current territory to start building a list of accounts. From here I'm going to start entering the cities within my territory. If you'll remember, I'm working on the eastern seaboard, so I'm going to enter those locations now. I also want to focus on the industries that I am paying particular attention to, so accounting, banking, as well as financial services.
Once I do that, I can hit Search. Lead Builder will automatically provide me with a list of people, but we're gonna focus on the accounts for now. So you saw I just clicked on Accounts on the left-hand side to be provided with a list of accounts that match the criteria that I was mentioning. From here I have the ability to save these companies as accounts, so I can be kept up to date on things that are happening within those organizations. This continued awareness will help me to stay on top of company changes, as well as make sure I'm in the know.
Sales Navigator provides you with the ability to conduct a direct search if you know just what you're looking for. But, you can also use Lead Builder to identify new accounts with search filters and spotlights to help you tailor your results more finely. Sales Navigator's powerful search algorithm will help you to find the accounts you need to succeed.
