- [Tutor] Your experience and education section functions as your professional C.V. is a core part of your professional work history. If you have a resume already created, that would be a great starting place for listing your Experience and Education section of your LinkedIn profile. For the Experience section, you will want to list all your relevant professional history starting with your current and most recent position, and working backwards from there. It is okay to omit positions that do not directly relate to your current career since they might be viewed as irrelevant and distracting. For dates, you want to make sure you have the months and years correct. In the six sections of an experience entries are as follows: Title, Company, Location, time period, Description, Media.
