The LinkedIn Learning navigation bar allows you to quickly access in-progress courses, saved content, viewing history, and more.
- [Instructor] In the previous video, I mentioned the navigation bar, and we took a look at how to search for content. Next, let's take a quick look at some of the other features available that can help us quickly locate content. Now, in-between videos, I did save a few courses, as well as started a few. So here, beneath the navigation bar, you can see two areas that can be very beneficial. The first one is the In Progress area, and these are any courses that we have in-progress. Next to this we have the Saved area, and these are any courses that you have saved.
Now, up on the navigation bar, to the right, we have the Home tab. If I click here, it brings us back to this page, which is our LinkedIn Learning home page. Then, we have the In Progress page. If I click on this icon, it brings me to any courses that I have in-progress. Here you can see that I have one, Teaching Techniques: Project-Based Learning. This blue line indicates how far along I am in the course, and I currently only have nine minutes and 14 seconds left in that course. Now, if you have a course that's in your In Progress section but you're done with it, and you don't want to watch it anymore, you can always click over here to the right on Move to history, and it will remove it from this section.
You also have the ability to share a course from here. So if it's a course that you're interested in, and you think is good, you can click there and share it out on LinkedIn. Now I'm going to click off of that. Up at the top, next to In Progress, we have Saved. If I click here, it will show me any courses that I have saved. So you can see I have Content Marketing: Videos, Social Media in the Classroom, and so on. If you don't want one of these saved, you can always go to the far right and click Unsave, and it will remove it from this list, and then you have the option to add it to a collection, something we'll take a look at in a little while.
Now I can also go to my profile icon, and from here there are some other options. We have Collections, Learning History, and then our Skills. Now these are also up at the top of these pages, so you can see here a sub-bar that has the In Progress, Saved, Collections, Learning History, and Skills. These are things we'll take a look at in upcoming videos. So I'll click back here on Home, and return to my home page. So as you can see these are just a few other ways that you can quickly access content that you've either been watching, that you've saved, or that you've added to lists.
