- [Instructor] In her effort to develop new business with large corporations, Sydni Craig-Hart, CEO of Smart Simple Marketing, went searching online for events and publications that catered to corporate buyers focused on a particular topic. After typing a specific phrase into Google, Sydni found an event with that exact title that was designed for the corporate audience to whom she wanted to sell. As she looked through the event website, she discovered the name of one of the event organizers. She decided to reach out to the woman, Christina, via LinkedIn, to learn more about the event and explore how she could contribute.

Sydni and her business partner, Will Hart, attended the event and had the opportunity to meet 120 key decision makers representing dozens of Fortune 500 companies.
Just one of those connects resulted in a contract worth $10,000. Sydni and Will have continued to nurture and deepen their relationship with Christina and her organization, and as a result, they were invited back to the exclusive annual event for the second year to speak at the conference.
