Moses Hall, a real estate investment strategist in Chicago, has found profitable success in optimizing his LinkedIn profile. He updates his profile whenever he develops new skills or completes new training. For example, after completing Project REAP, which is a commercial real estate program for minority professionals looking to break into the commercial real estate industry, Moses added Project REAP to his LinkedIn profile. LinkedIn updates your connections whenever you make changes to your profile, and Moses says that when people saw that he completed the program, it generated new business.
His connections asked him about the program and also offered leads to clients that were interested in buying in the Chicago market. Moses says that the simple act of keeping his profile up to date allowed him to connect with people that were not initially part of his network.
