Join Brad Batesole for an in-depth discussion in this video Add conversion tracking to a campaign, part of LinkedIn Sponsored Content (2016).
- [Instructor] Once you've set up your conversion tracking and created your first conversion, you can now add that conversion to a new or an existing campaign. Let's start by looking at how we would add it to a new campaign. I'll choose Create campaign in the upper right hand corner, and I'll select the option here next to sponsored content. You'll notice that here on the first screen at the bottom of the form, you'll have the option to select Conversions. If I select this, I can now choose the conversion or multiple conversions, that I'd like to be tracking, and then choose Apply.
At this point, the conversions are now associated with this campaign. We can continue building the campaign, just like we would normally, except in this case, now the conversion events will be associated with the data on that campaign. Now if you'd like, you can also add conversion data to an existing campaign. I'll choose Cancel campaign in the lower left hand corner. And I'll select a campaign that I'd like to add conversion tracking to. Here, in the upper right hand corner, you'll see the Settings icon. From the drop down, I'll choose Select conversions.
Just like you saw before, we'll select the conversion or conversions that we'd like to track, and then choose Apply. And just like that, you've got a conversion tracking associated with your campaigns.
