Changing your privacy settings in the LinkedIn mobile application is very straightforward. From your profile, you can interact with the gear icon to review Account, Privacy and Communication settings. Control your LinkedIn privacy and control what you share on your public LinkedIn profile through the privacy settings section.

- The last section I'd like to show you is the Account and Privacy settings. So, from the application, I've selected Me in the navigation at the bottom of the screen and I'm going to choose the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner. It's here that you have access to your Account, Privacy and Communication settings, and it's also where you'll go to sign out. So as I scroll down this list, you'll see Sign Out there at the bottom of the screen. It's easy enough to add and edit your email addresses, phone numbers, and even change your passwords. It's also here that you can interact with your Calendar and Contact settings.
So if you recall, we turned on that calendar synch and I can tap in here and disable that function and tap back to review other settings. If I tap the Privacy option, we can take a look at how we're sharing information. Here at the top of the screen is one of the key things to take a look at. If you're updating your provide on the fly, you might not want to notify your network that you're making changes. If that's the case, simply view Privacy, then tap Sharing Profile Edits and in this view, you can enable or disable whether people are going to see when you make changes to your profile or recommendations, or even follow other companies.
I'll tap the back. And finally, I'm going to tap on the Communications option there at the top of the screen. And this is where you can configure push notifications. I'll tap Push Notifications and we can disable or enable all of the various push notifications that we'll receive on our mobile device when these various actions happen. So someone likes an update or shares an update and so on, I'm going to get a notification on my device. And you'll configure how those notifications appear for your particular device. But this allows you to dial in specifically what you want to see.
So if you're getting a lot of push notifications, you can come in here and simply tap on the toggle switches to disable the ones that you're not interested in. Take a minute and review your Account, Privacy and Communications settings to make sure the app is dialed in exactly how you like it.
