Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video A workaround for syncing all settings using Photoshop, part of Lightroom: Working with Video.
…Here's the thing.…When you open a video clip in Lightroom,…there are certain adjustments you just can't make.…You want to do a lens correction?…No dice.…You want to do the post-crop vignette?…You can't.…Some of these adjustments can not be done…as parametric edits inside of Lightroom, because Lightroom…can't do them in real time, which is what all of its adjustments are designed to do.…So, fortunately, we can kick this over to Photoshop which you may have.…These days a lot of you are working with Creative Cloud,…or the Photographers bundle which has both Light Room and Photoshop.…
So I want to show you an alternate workflow.…With the clip selected here, I'm going to make a reference still.…And I want to do a few adjustments to that still.…So we will take advantage here.…There's a little bit of wide angle distortion.…Let's switch on over to the develop module.…And I know that this particular clip was actually shot on a GoPro.…And that did a little bit of fixing there.…It's a little bit more bent than I'd like,…
