You are watching the "Lightroom Classic Essential Training" course. There is also a course called "Learning Lightroom Classic." You might be asking yourself, why two courses by the same author? Are they the same or different? Do I need to watch both? Which one is right for me? I know this might be confusing, so I want to explain the intent and benefits of having two courses. This course, "Lightroom Classic Essential Training," is an in-depth, deep dive into the Lightroom Classic application. By the end of this course, you will have a solid understanding of how to make Lightroom Classic work for you. Exercise files are provided as well so that you can follow along with me if you like. This course is for you if you're ready to deeply understand how Lightroom Classic works, starting from the very beginning by creating a new catalog, and if you're seeking a deeper understanding of not just how to do something but why to do it, if you're looking for more advanced editing techniques, or want to learn and practice keyboard shortcuts, or know how to sync Lightroom Classic with Lightroom, and if you can invest the time that this course requires. If you are seeking a Lightroom Classic quick start guide, the "Learning Lightroom Classic" course may be a better option for you to start with. My hope, of course, is that you watch both of them. While this course provides a deeper dive, there is some content in the "Learning Lightroom Classic" course that isn't covered here, including an overview of all the modules, as well as instructions about printing.
