Working with JPEG compression and using the Quality slider

Before you upload your online web gallery. You'll want to navigate to the Output Settings Panel, because here we can dial in some important settings in regards to our image quality. We could add a watermark to our photographs and also select the amount of sharpening that we want applied to our photographs. Well lets start off by taking a look at image quality. You'll notice that for this gallery, it has to do with the Large Images. So let's go ahead and click on one of these images, so that we can see this a little bit more clearly. Now, if we decrease the quality, well, the image will fall apart, increase the quality, the image will look better.

So what then, is an appropriate quality amount? Well this is JPEG compression. You don't want to go up to 100, because what that will do is it will increase your final size in your web gallery, well it will lag. It will run a little bit too slow.
