From lighting to posing to post-processing, learn how to create business portraits with a modern, professional look. Robert Vanelli shows how to light, shoot, and edit corporate headshots and environmental portraits.
- Business professionals rely on corporate portraits to convey a sense of trust, confidence, and personality. Hi, I'm Vanelli, and in this course not only are we gonna talk about the technical side of photography, where we light, edit, and shoot a corporate portrait, but we're also gonna talk about how to build a rapport with our client so we can capture they're true emotions to get the best possible portrait we can. We'll begin by looking at different styles of corporate portraits, including both traditional and environmental portraits.
From there we'll go through a location scout to how to choose the right environment for your client. Then we'll build a portable studio. After our shoot, we'll jump into Adobe Lightroom to quickly make selects and edit our images. Whether you're shooting a single person or an entire office, our simple lighting will deliver predictable, consistent results. Corporate portraits may not be the most exciting type of portraitures, but it can be the most rewarding. So hey, let's get started and capture a corporate portrait.
