Using Smart Collections for video files

One of the challenges of working with video files inside of Lightroom is that sometimes they get lost in the shuffle. In the midst of all of your other photographs, often it's difficult to locate and find those movie files. Well, there's actually a technique that you can use which will really simplify this process. It has to do with Smart Collections. If you navigate over to the Collections panel, what you'll notice is when you open this up there is now a default collection called Video Files. Simply click on that and then you'll see the video files that you have in this particular Lightroom catalog.

In my case I have two video files. Well, let's say that I really like these files and so I want to add a star or flag or label rating to these images. So in this case I will simply press a number key like the 3 key to add a 3-star rating. Or on this one, I'll press the 2 key to add a 2-star rating.
