Using LUTs with Aurora HDR

- Aurora HDR is both a filter and a plugin designed to intensify details and images. You can also use look up tables very easily with LUT mapping. With Aurora HDR open, click open image, navigate to an image that you want to work with. In this case, I'll choose this one here, of a regular landscape and will choose to create the HDR image. The image opens and you can make any basic adjustments that you want to the image itself to enhance the HDR conversion. When you're ready to apply a LUT, you'll see that the LUT mapping filter is built in to the filters controls. Now simply click to choose the LUT. You can use built-in LUTs very easily, or choose load custom LUT file. Just navigate to a cube file and select it and click open and the look is applied. Using the string slider here, you can double the effect, or lighten it, but dial it into taste. Remember, LUTs can get you quite a bit there. But then by combining them…
