Using DNG Camera Profiles with Capture One
- DCP profiles and ICC profiles are very similar. They're going to use the same calibration data to generate a reference that you could apply to the image itself. Now in order to use these, you'll typically want to convert your RAW file into a high quality TIF. You can then open that file up in the same calibration software. It'll load, and you just need to create a target profile like before. If needed, zoom in... And simply mark out the corners. Make sure that the targets are accurate, and then click create profile. Give it a descriptive name. Let it write to disc. You should then quit capture one so it can rescan the directory. Feel free to relaunch the application. Now, select the file you want to use. And you can come on over to the ICC profile area under color. Click, and if you don't see this full list, make sure you choose show all.
