Using Camera Raw profiles in Lightroom

- If you're using the newer Lightroom, the same Adobe camera profiles are also available. They'll even synchronize to your mobile phone for use there. In your Lightroom catalog, select one of your images, and double-click to open it. You can use one of your own photos. Now, switch to the editing controls. You'll see the same Profile pop-up list, with the ability to choose between Color and Monochrome. However, the interface is a bit simplified here. You don't see anything below it, unless you choose, Browse All Profiles, then it loads a new switcher here. Now you can go in and start to see the different options. And as you mouse over they quickly apply to the photograph. Now, if the image has tough exposure, like this one does here, I'm just going to click Back at first and go in and fill in the Shadows a little bit. By bringing out the subject and recovering the Highlights slightly for this particular photograph, I get a…
