Lightroom provides with the ability to Automatically import images to a light room Catalog. During this training video you will learn how to designate and configure a "watched" folder that Lightroom monitors for any added images. You will see how to configure this "watched" folder to control how Lightroom automatically processes and organizes any added images.
- [Voiceover] One final and very cool and fast tool…I'd like to show you as part of this customizing your import…process in Lightroom is the auto import function…and capabilities that's built into Lightroom.…And earlier I showed you how I use and populate my…sort folders when I'm just trying to get images off my card…and wanna get them into the Lightroom database.…Well it's a different and some ways even faster way…to do this and it's using the auto import function…and feature.…Alright to use the auto import or function of feature,…the idea is to copy images say from a digital camera…or coming from a scanner and then automatically importing…those into the Lightroom database.…
And first we activate the capability and then we'll…set it up.…So we'll come down underneath Lightroom, and we'll choose…Auto Import and make sure the Enable Auto Import…is turned on and then choose Auto Import Settings.…And then you get this dialog box right here.…Now I'm gonna cancel out of this I'm gonna go over…to my operating system view for a moment.…
