Starting the panoramic Photomerge process
- All right, you've seen the photo merge process a bit, let's go a little bit deeper. Before I begin though, I'm going to accelerate Lightroom. Inside of Lightroom now, you can choose Preferences, and then choose the Performance tab. Make sure that your Camera Raw option is turned on to use the graphics processor, this will speed things up. Remember, you can also go over and take a look at your system info to see if things are properly supported. You can read in a little bit more about your computer. Now this should be enabled by default, and as long as it's supports OpenGL 3.3 or newer, you're in good shape. You'll find that cards from Intel, Nvidia, and AMD should all fall into this spec. If you've invested in a good graphics card because of tools like Photoshop or Premiere Pro or After Effects, you'll see benefits now inside of Lightroom.
