Starting in Lightroom Classic
- [Instructor] The round-trip workflow you'll be using throughout this course starts in Lightroom Classic. That's because Lightroom Classic is where you probably keep track of your photos, and Photoshop doesn't have a place to do that. The first step is to locate a photo to work on in the Library module. In the Folders panel on the left side of the Library module, go to the Folders panel, and there, click on the Chapter 1 Raw Workflow sub-folder. In there, you'll find a photo, click on it, and then go up to Develop, and click there, or just press D on your keyboard. That will open that photo for editing in Lightroom Classic's Develop module. I encourage you to do your basic photo editing in Lightroom Classic, rather than in Photoshop, because frankly, photo editing is simpler here in Lightroom Classic than it is in Photoshop.
