- [Instructor] The first thing to understand about Lightroom Classic is that it is not automatically part of the Lightroom ecosystem like all of the other versions of Lightroom we've already looked at. The photos you have in your Classic catalog are on your computer, and not online. They can't be viewed by a web browser until you sync them with Lightroom. The next thing that confuses many Classic users is that turning on the Sync with Lightroom does not automatically send everything in your catalog to the cloud. First, you have to turn on the Sync option and then you can sync individual collections. Let's go through each step. First, before you can share the photos from Classic, you must turn on Sync with Lightroom. We find that option up here under the Nameplate. We'll click on the Nameplate, and then here where it says Sync with Lightroom, click on the triangle over here to the right. That will turn it on. I…
