Smart Collection
- [Instructor] A smart collection is a collection that automatically populates based on metadata criteria. Lightroom Classic includes some default smart collections down here in the Collections panel. I'll open this set, and we'll see some collections that already have images in them. We didn't add these images to the collections. They were automatically added based on the metadata. Let's select this colored red collection, and we'll see the one image that's part of the catalog that has the red label applied to that. There's an almost endless number of possibilities for smart collections. I'll show you how to create a few based on metadata that we've already applied to photos in this catalog. I'll click on the plus next to Collections in the Collections panel here and choose Create Smart Collections. First, we need to give it a name.
