Join Tim Grey for an in-depth discussion in this video Sharing images on Flickr, part of Lightroom 5: 3 Basics of Image Sharing.
…Flickr is one of the more commonly used photo sharing sites, and…we can share images directly to a Flickr photo stream from within Lightroom.…Let's take a look at how we can configure the use…of Flickr within Lightroom so that we can share images very easily.…I'll go ahead and go to the left panel in the Library module,…and I'll scroll down to Publish Services, and I'll find the Flickr option.…And there, I'll go ahead and click the Setup link.…This is a one-time step that provides…permission to Lightroom to access my Flickr…account so that I can utilize Lightroom…to quickly and easily share images via Flickr.…
Within the Lightroom Publishing Manager dialogue, with Flickr selected over on…the left side, I'll go ahead and click the Authorize button.…You'll see that Lightroom indicates it…needs permission to upload images to Flickr.…I'll go ahead and click the Authorize button.…And that will bring up my Web browser and, in this case, I…don't need to actually sign into my Flickr account because I've already done so.…

Q: When I access the Identity Plate Editor dialog, I get a message in that dialog that says "No options for Lightroom identity plate." This is different from what I see in the lesson on modifying the identity plate. How do I resolve this issue?
A: The difference you are seeing relates to changes Adobe made in version 5.4 for Lightroom, related to support for the new Lightroom Mobile application. The new "Lightroom" option for the Identity Plate popup enables access to the sign-in and synchronization for Lightroom Mobile. To personalize the identity plate you can choose the "Personalized" option from the Identity Plate popup, which will reveal the set of controls for changing the identity plate.
