Removing lines - Lightroom Tutorial
From the course: Lightroom Quick Tips
Removing lines
- [Instructor] Use the Healing Brush to remove a straight line. Open the Healing Brush. Because the sky has a continuous tone, I'll use the Heal mode so the target and source areas will be blended. Size the brush so the inner circle is larger than the line. Click on one end, hold down the Shift key, and click on the other end. This makes a straight line. Lightroom selects the source area. Hide the tool overlay to see the result. The line at the bottom of the photo bothers me. Because it's in an area with contrasting detail, I'll take it out in sections using the same technique. The length of a section is determined by the available source area. Adjust the source pins as you go. Hide the tool overlay and make sure everything looks good. Fine tune it by spot healing additional areas.
