- [Voiceover] Let's take a look at how we can correct…some common lens distortion issues by working with…our lens corrections and transform panels.…In this movie, we'll be working…with two different photographs, starting off with…this image of the concert hall here.…With this image I notice that there's a little bit…of barrel distortion, also if you look closely,…you may see that the edges are dark.…That's called vignetting.…And then the columns also aren't standing up straight.…How can we fix those things?…It all begins by going over to our Lens Corrections panel.…Click on the Profile tab, and click on the option…to Enable Profile Corrections.…
Now you can see here it's making some great corrections.…Removing a bit of distortion, and fixing…that vignetting issue.…Now, how in the world is Lightroom doing this?…Well built into Lightroom is this huge database…of information about different camera and lens combos.…And here it's picking up my camera and lens combo,…then applying the appropriate profile in order…to make the needed correction.…
