Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Removing adjustments to a clip, part of Lightroom: Working with Video.
…Now, you've seen me reset a clip before,…but I really just want to explicitly point this out.…Remember, every adjustment you make to a clip in Lightroom is nondestructive.…Meaning that the original clip is not permanently modified.…When you want to apply that effect, you'll have to…export the clip from Lightroom and create a new file.…So, what you're really seeing is an approximation.…For example, if I am in here working, let's just select a clip.…And say, I've pushed this.…
I'll apply a preset.…And I want to do a really strong color here.…And…I want to push that a bit for the Yesteryear option.…And then I'm going to adjust that color temperature a bit, I'm…going for sort of a classic feeling of an old surf movie.…Let's decrease the contrast a little bit and…refine the exposure and I'm happy with where that's…gone except I show it to somebody else and…they want to know what's wrong with my camera.…Well, no big deal.…Just click Reset All, and that's going to take that clip back.…
So, then you're free to pick another preset or another starting point.…
