Remove unwanted objects in Photoshop

- In this episode, we're going to take a look at a bit more of an advanced project, and here, we'll look at how we can remove unwanted objects. Now, my vision for this photograph was to create an image, which illustrated the idea of those gaps that we have in our life. Those gaps between where we are, and where we want to go. Now, in order to achieve this image, I needed to remove a number of different unwanted objects. A few palm trees, also some other items like the trash cans and the picnic tables over here. Let's take a look at how we can do just that. In order to do that, we'll begin by copying the background layer. Press Cmd+G on a Mac, or Ctrl+G on Windows in order to do that. Let me go ahead and name this new layer Patch, because we're going to begin with our Patch Tool. Press the spacebar key and click and drag, in order to move over here, and maybe zoom in a little bit so you can see this better. You often want to start of with some of the objects like these here.
