Join Colin Smith for an in-depth discussion in this video Overview of the side panels, part of Lightroom 1.3 for Digital Photographers.
Let's have a quick look at the behavior of these side panels.…As you notice, we have a panel on the left and the panel on the left in the Library Panel.…Basically we can hide or show these different things just by hitting these little arrows.…Now, everything on the left here, this is pretty much where we would do all our…viewing of that image and finding the different folders and different…collections of images on our computer.…This is a way we could sort things out and do different things.…
On the left-hand side we have got some basic options here.…We've got a Histogram, which shows the Histogram of the currently selected…image, and we can just hide that or show it.…We've got Quick Develop, where we can apply some quick adjustments to it.…And if you see these little arrows, we can always open those, and you'll see…more options will be available.…Now, if you want to make some quick selections and changes in here, you can…change things like Exposure, Clarity, Vibrance, make these things look better.…We'll be going through all these different options when we go to Develop Module.…
