- On this journey through an amazing tropical landscape, I had two major goals in mind. The first was to try and connect the viewer, you in this case, with the emotion of paradise, with the idea of wanting to be transported to this place of vacation and relaxation and beauty. And I think I accomplished that with palm trees, ocean, even a bench, a manmade subject, so that you could picture sitting on that bench, looking at that amazing scene. I also think the pathway through the bamboo forest was very inviting scene, through this lush environment. It was really, really interesting to use manmade elements within nature in order to tell that story, because it really brings the viewer into the scene. Another major goal I had was to tell the story of the landscape that I'm in, without necessarily going for an iconic shot, but just kind of through discovery.
