- If you're starting to work with Lightroom, you might've used another tool from Adobe, like Lightroom Classic. Fortunately, it's easy to migrate that library over, but there are a few things to keep in mind. First step, make sure you're on the same system, and then launch Lightroom Classic. You'll also want to make sure that all of the images are connected, that you see no offline files. If necessary, you could choose to synchronize the folders or update the folder location, if you see an exclamation point, indicating that a file is offline, then switch on over to Lightroom. Now keep in mind that this is meant to be a one way trip, so you shouldn't keep importing on an ongoing basis. Also, Lightroom Classic supports multiple catalogs.
