Manually sorting after import

- Let's get started with Lightroom. and create a new catalog to hold all of my exercise files today. Now, one of the benefits of making a new catalog is that you won't have to worry about mixing these demo images in with other exercise files and hold down the Option or the Alt key as you do so. This allows you to bring up a new dialogue box that allows you to choose an existing catalog. I'm going to create a new catalog here and simply name this lynda_Pano_Merge. You can choose where to store this That looks good, and I'll click Create. This is also known as Lightroom Creative Cloud. It doesn't matter which version you have, but in order to take advantage of the panoramic features, Choose the downloadable files. Here we go. And I'm going to start with folder two. Now, there are multiple images here within this particular folder, This will keep them at their current location I'll make sure that all are checked, and simply click the Import button. These are now added into my library. and you can see all of the other panoramas that are here. You'll notice that it immediately shows you the previous import. Now, I'm going to take all of these images here, and simply switch to the All Photographs view. And you'll notice from Sort And you'll notice from Sort that you have different abilities to sort. that you have different abilities to sort. You could choose to sort based on capture time.
