- [Instructor] Do you take lots of photos? Maybe you're an amateur or professional photographer who wants to really understand how Lightroom Classic works. Do you want to learn Lightroom Classic from the ground up in an easy to follow, fun, and understandable way? If any of these questions resonate, this is the course for you. Hi, I'm Theresa Jackson. I'm a photographer, a graphic artist, and an instructor. And I use Lightroom Classic every day for my personal and professional photography. I can't wait to share my knowledge and my passion for Lightroom Classic with you. I'd like to share with you the fundamental essentials of Lightroom Classic. You'll learn about two of Lightroom Classic's most important modules, the Library and Develop modules to organize and edit your photos. The lessons in this course are presented in the order of a real world workflow so that you can easily follow along from start to finish. We'll begin by understanding what a Lightroom Classic catalog is. Then we'll go over ways to organize and store your photos on local hard drives. In Lightroom Classic, we'll look at import methods, create a copyright metadata template, and learn the best practices for keywording. We'll also explore how to review and rate your images, create image stacks, collections, smart collections, and collection sets. This course will address those burning questions like "What is good file management?", "Where should I put my photos?" and "What happens to them during an import?" "How can I edit faster and more efficiently?" "How do I get my edited photos out of Lightroom?" "And can I sync my mobile device "with my Lightroom Classic photos?" We'll finish it up with some troubleshooting tips just in case something goes wrong for you along the way. Are you ready now to learn Lightroom Classic? Well, come along with me, as I lead you through Lightroom Classic Essential Training.
