- The next step that we'll be taking in our project…will be to work with the Basic panel.…Yet so that we can compare and contrast…the results of what we've done so far,…what I'm going to do first is create a virtual copy.…Here, I'll go ahead and click on this triangle icon…to open up the Filmstrip for a moment.…Down here in the Filmstrip below,…you can see we have our photograph.…To create a virtual copy, simply right-click…or Control-click on one of those little…Filmstrip thumbnails, then about halfway up in the menu,…you can select the item Create Virtual Copy.…
So again, that's right-click or Control-click,…then choose Create Virtual Copy.…Here you can see we have our virtual copy…right next door, and in Lightroom virtual copies…are a great way to have flexibility.…If you aren't certain about how you're going…to process an image, well, create a…virtual copy, iterate, try out some new ideas.…In our case, we're going to use this virtual copy…so we can compare and contrast our results.…All right, well, let's close the Filmstrip for now,…
