- Acne or unwanted skin blemishes can affect all ages but it's often most prevalent in photos of teens or those in their early twenties. Fortunately, Lightroom has some useful tools for cleaning this up quite quickly. Let's go ahead here and take a look at our photo. And I see we have a couple of bits of acne that we want to remove. If we go to the Develop module we'll choose the spot removal tool and just get a smaller brush. What I'll do is choose the Heal option and click on the Blemish and you see it samples from nearby skin and blends it together. You can control where this is coming from and drag that to a new position and watch how the new texture is generated. And sometimes dragging it to reposition will give you better results. Hold down the space bar and you can drag to move around. So if there's a blemish, just click and then tell it where to sample from. This'll allow you to go through and touch up the…
