How do I fix red-eye?

- While it's not a common problem, you might notice that your subject has red-eye. This can be caused by the flash being reflected by the back of the eye, and it results in an unwanted shift inside the pupil. To fix it is pretty easy. With your image, zoom in on the eyes. You may need to use the space bar to navigate. Then choose your brush tool. Adjust the brush to be about the size of the pupil, and then turn off Auto Mask and simply click. The red I'm seeing is because of the overlays. You could press the O key to cycle between the different views. Now, using the sliders, you can adjust the saturation, the clarity, and the exposure, until you get a nice, natural looking pupil. Move on over to the other side, and adjust the size of your brush as needed, and paint. And it should use the same settings as before. If you need to, you can click to add a new brush if you want separate controls, but chances are this will do it. We see the before and after, the red-eye has definitely been taken care of by removing the saturation and lowering the exposure slightly, for a nice, rich pupil.
