Almost every portrait has some imperfections in…the model's skin, whether those are blemishes or…scars or discolorations or even a little…bit of nose jewelry that you want to remove.…I'm going to use the spot removal tool…to reduce some of those imperfections in this portrait.…I'll select the spot removal tool by pressing Q on my keyboard, or…going to the toolbar under the histogram and clicking on the spot removal tool.…And that drops down the spot removal tool panel.…Here, I make sure that the tool is set to its heal mode, so…that the patches I'm going to make, will blend in nicely with the surrounding skin.…
I'm also going to set opacity to a 100% so that…those patches are most likely to cover up the unwanted content.…Now this is important, when you're working with this spot…removal tool, you want to be zoomed in to at least…one to one view, rather than zoomed out to this…fit view, where I'm seeing this entire image on the screen.…To get to one…to one view with the spot removal tool selected,…and this is two of any of the adjustment tools.…
