Finding a subject for a floral blend image
- [Man] I've been searching the garden, looking for a specific flower or plant that I think would be a great choice to get depth of field throughout the entire flower. So, instead of being very selective about our focus, we want to try and get perfectly sharp front to back flower. We also want a very clean background and I've come across this little kind of green house area where they've got some different potted plants. And I have to remind myself that I'm in a garden and whether something's planted in the ground or in a pot here, essentially, this is a manicured garden. And typically what's grown here is going to be grown in this environment and so I'm perfectly okay photographing this plant in the pot. And what's great about it being in the pot is I can move it around a little bit. So, what I've done here is I've moved it away from the wall so that when I go to photograph it, you get a soft background.
