- [Instructor] There's one more section of Lightroom Classic's external editing preferences that's worth knowing about and that is the file naming section. This section controls the way that files will be named when you take them from Lightroom Classic over to Photoshop and then save them back. At the top of this section, you can see the default file name which is the name of the actual file followed by a hyphen and then the word edit and then the TIFF format or the PSD format depending on what you chose in the file format field at the top of the preferences. If you want to change that, then click on this template menu and you can choose from any of these templates. So you might choose to have a custom name followed by a sequence or a custom named followed by the original file number or whatever you like.
