- Okay, so we've seen that if you're using a newer iPhone and Lightroom Mobile you can capture DNG files with your phone. You can actually capture and edit RAW files. Well, because you can edit RAW files you also would want to do that with your traditional camera. In fact, that's even more interesting to me. So what I want to do is take the images off of this camera, and edit them. Now, normally I'd have to run back to the desktop, put those on my Lightroom on the desktop, and then sync them. But that's no longer the case. I can just move them directly into my iPad, and all I need to do is have the camera connection kit. And there's two of these available, and depending on which card you have, this is going to allow you to do that. This is something that photographers have wanted forever, the ability to take RAW images off of their interchangeable lens camera, move them into an iPad, and begin immediately culling, sorting, and even editing them right there.
