Exchanging the HDR file with Photoshop
- Okay, now that those files are just about put together, let's get them exchanged into Photoshop from Lightroom. There's a couple of different ways to do this, and I'm going to go with the one that's the most flexible for future changes. With the first image stack selected, I'll chose Photo, Edit In, Merge to HDR Pro in Photoshop. That's going to create the HDR Pro merge. For this other image, let's try a different approach. We'll create the HDR image inside of Lightroom, and we'll merge this using the RAW merge method. It's going to take a second. I am going to uncheck Auto Align because I shot from a tripod, and I shouldn't need any de-ghosting, so that should speed up the process. That looks pretty good. I'll click Merge to generate the new file in Lightroom, and it creates the HDR. While that's happening, let's also merge this other file with the Lightroom method. I'll just use control, shift, H to repeat the merge method and invoke a second HDR file, so you see there it's making…
