Personally I love photos with textural details. When editing I'm always looking to draw attention to these details. You might guess that we're going to talk about adjustments that are found in the detail panel. But actually the image enhancement tools I want to show you are found in the Lightroom's effects panel here. We can jump there with a CMND or CNTRL+3 The effects panel has three different controls for detail enhancement. Texture, clarity and dehaze. All three increase detail by finding edges and accentuating them. But the results are very different. How and why you use each will depend on the image and your personal taste. Let's try them out on this lake image. I love this photo for the wonderful texture that's in the trees.
