This video focuses on image editing, illustrating the steps to take in Photoshop and Lightroom to get to a final select of the banyan tree image.
- Now I want to take those false color skills…that we just acquired, and apply it to this…infrared image of the banyan tree…and also show you what to do when you run into a hotspot.…Now this is white balance, which I expected this…image to be red, but it's actually kind of pink.…And I think the reason for that is just wasn't…that much sun hitting at that time.…But if I go ahead and apply my profile,…you'll see that it becomes a little bit more neutral,…maybe a little blue, but all I have to do…is warm that up a touch, and you're able to get…kind of a more neutral beginning.…
So from here, we're going to go right into Photoshop.…Okay, now, the first thing I notice is…right in this area here with the tree trunk,…there's some bluish color, and I'm going to…emphasize it to show you what I'm talking about.…If I just up the saturation of blue,…do you see how right in here you just get this…really dark blue, and it's a little bit confusing.…Why did that happen? Why is just that one area blue?…And the answer is it's a hotspot.…
