Join Jan Kabili for an in-depth discussion in this video Editing with the Adjustment Brush, part of Learning Lightroom 6 and Lightroom Classic CC.
- The adjustment brush tool…is a useful local adjustment tool…that let's you paint in adjustments wherever you need them.…If you watch the earlier movies in this chapter…about the graduated filter tool,…the adjustment brush will look familiar…because it has very similar controls.…I'm starting with a photo of a beautiful place in Italy…that I shot and to which I've applied…some overall adjustments.…Now it's time to tackle some local problems in this photo.…I'll select the adjustment brush tool in the tool strip…and that drops down the adjustment brush panel.…
I'll close the histogram, so we have more room…to see the adjustment brush panel.…The sliders in the effects section of this panel…are the same as the sliders in the effects section…of the graduated filter tool and the radial filter tool.…Each slider here controls the amount of an effect,…which you can load on an adjustment brush.…You can load a brush with just one effect…or with a combination of effects.…And then to apply those effects, you just paint them…
