- [Instructor] There's one more option for passing a non raw file from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop and that's the edit a copy option. The primary use for edit a copy is when you want to take an image back to Photoshop after it's already been through at least one roundtrip from Lightroom to Photoshop and back again. And you want to do this roundtrip with a copy. For this lesson you can use the photo that we ended up with at the end of the last movie or you can substitute this image which is in the library modules folders panel in the edit a copy folder. So the back story is that you've already taken this image back and forth between Lightroom Classic and Photoshop a couple of times already. You're happy with this Lake Como version of the image, but now you want another version that's similar but that has different text. So you need to return to Photoshop one more time to edit the text and you want to do that with edit a copy.…
