Duplicating the image and applying HDR toning

- Before we get too carried away with converting our photograph to black and white, the next step that we need to take is to apply an HDR toning effect to a duplicate version of this photograph. Let me show you how we can do this. Here you can see that I'm currently in full-screen mode. I want to exit out of that so that I can see the tab for this document. In order to do that, I'll press Shift-F, or you can just press F multiple times 'til you get to the view where you can see the tab for the document that you have open, in this case Johnny.dng. Next, what we want to do is navigate to that image pull-down menu, and just about halfway down, or so, we're going to click on the option for duplicate. This gives us the ability to give a name to the duplicate version. We'll call this one Johnny copy, and then go ahead and click OK.
