Join Richard Harrington for an in-depth discussion in this video Developing a proxy frame, part of Lightroom: Working with Video.
…Let's develop this proxy frame to get the image to a way that we like.…Now, this is purely subjective.…I'm just going to develop this to my taste.…But feel free to develop any way that you'd like to.…I've got the clip selected and you see…that I could take advantage of lots of options.…However, you need to realize that not everything can be synchronized across.…For example, while you'd love to have it, you're not going to…be able to take advantage of the lens corrections here in Light Room.…And that post crop thing, yet, that you're all…so fond of, it won't make the jump either.…
But let's develop this image how we want anyways, so it looks good.…And then we'll sync the two.…I'll start with an auto-tone, and it went…a bit bright, so we'll back that exposure down.…Balance out the contrast.…Let's recover the highlights a little.…And the shadows.…Now the tricky thing is, is that…highlights and shadows won't come across to…video, so, instead of doing it there, I'll just double click to reset those.…Let's instead use the whites.…
