- [Instructor] The quickest and best way to convert an image…to black and white in Lightroom…is to tap the V key on the keyboard, think V for victory.…And the reason is because that gives us access…to our black and white controls.…And here we'll be working with those controls,…we'll use some basic settings,…and then we'll go to the detail panel as well.…Alright well here in the black and white panel,…what we can do is we can modify our reds…and oranges and yellow sometimes too…to change the way that the skin tone looks.…Let me show you what I mean.…If I drag these to the left, all of a sudden,…we get a certain look or a lot of the skin variations…become more pronounced but if we drag them to the right,…we can get rid of a lot of those.…
Now if I go too far, this looks,…it looks almost too glowing, too perfect.…It might be better for a beauty photograph.…So in this case I want to bring those down,…but I wanna have a little bit of…that brightening effect there.…Next if I zoom out for a minute,…I'll grab the targeted adjustment tool, click on the shirt,…
